Summary:

Business requirement :

  1. Receive a defective customer owned asset in the repair center ( the Repair center is purely a service organization and is not an OEM/manufacturer of this customer asset that is in question hence there is no Installed base hierarchy for the Asset here)
  2. Create a new asset for the customer this is needed to create the work order, Create a service request , and a Depot Repair Maintenance work order for the customer asset received in repair center.
  3. Technician working on the Depot Repair finds/identifies a defective component in the Asset and has to take out those damaged components out during the execution of the maintenance work order and transfer to Central warehouse
