System not validating GSTIN (ORA_IN_GST) validation at supplier registration

Content (required):

Requirement is to validate GSTIN (Tax Registration Number) during supplier registration. I can see there is one setup given 'Manage Country Default Controls' and I can also locate 'ORA_IN_GST' under validation type. However, no validation is being done at the moment.

Can anyone help me if this is planned feature for next updates to put validation for ORA_IN_GST or there will be no validations given by oracle for this?
