Access to a Report User on a report with Datasource which is not provisioned for the Report User

Summary:

Reporting Data Access in NR process without specific access in Planning.

Content (required):

We have a user who is not allowed to access Planning application.

But there is one Report at consolidated level, where this user should be able to read it. But the source of the report is planning application.

Connections of the NR process to the planning application is set with service Administrator process.

Now question is about which access is being used for Reporting user to run this report.?

We assumed it is Service Admin creds, which is stored in the Connections page and we don't need to set up access to report user in source application.
