Accrual calculation using Hours worked during termination

Summary:

Accrual calculation using Hours worked during termination

Content (required):

Hi All.

Our client uses Kronos for time and labor, accrual calculation happens in oracle cloud, absence entry happens in Kronos and we use oracle cloud payroll for processing payroll data.

We have certain absence plans where accruals are based on hours worked. We have created a payroll balance for hours worked. My question is how would we calculate the accrual for the last pay period when an employee is terminated?

Assume the payroll period is 1/1/2023 - 1/14/2023. Payroll runs on 1/19/2023. The employee gets terminated on 1/7/2023 since termination is before the payroll run date of 1/19/2023 hours worked balance would be zero.

Howdy, Stranger!
