Delete employees from active compensation plan

Hello experts,

I have to delete some employees from active workforce compensation plan. I made them ineligible manually in Administer Workers, but after refreshing compensation plan, they are still visible.

I tried to select the "Do not refresh" or "Exclude worker from the refresh process" checkboxes in Administer Workers participating plan, then refresh data or refresh the plan, but employees are still visible.

Do you know if there is any possibility to remove them, other than back out and start the plan?

It is easy to add employees to the plan, but I cannot see any option to remove them.
