Can you change the sort order in the Invoice Workbench and have it be permanent?

Our AP department has asked that we change the sort order from invoice # to Creation Date descending.

We have attempted to use the Advanced Sort under View but this does not stay after doing other things within the invoice module or upon exit of the system and re-entry.
