Domain name change

in OCI - General

Summary:

I am installing EBS 12.2 and my default domain name is too big it looks like the below

prod-Instance.subnet04261437.vcn04261437.oraclevcn.com how do I change it to reduce to less than 30 charecters

I want the FQDN like the below

hostname.mydomain.com

changing in /etc/hosts is not helping
