Match report function not working as expected

Summary:

I'm building a report against Planning. The Period dimension has one hierarchy of months under quarters and then alternate hierarchies for YTD. Example: children of Q1 are Jan, Feb, Mar (primary members) and children of YTD(Feb) are Jan and Feb (shared members). Report has period in the POV and a column showing current POV period selection - this works. I need to add a second column to show the YTD amount for the same current POV month. With the POV set to Feb, I tried using Match in multiple ways as listed below. In all cases the Match With setting
