Queries regarding unavailability/support for INBOUND INTERFACE type while creating HCM extracts

edited Jan 31, 2023 7:17AM in HCM Integrations 4 comments

Summary:

As per communication from Oracle around Inbound Interface (Refer the Doc ID 2872186.1 )- "Product Management confirmed that Inbound Interface was never documented for customer use and is not supported" .

This means that Inbound Interface Type is Missing from the Extract Type when Creating an Extract Definition and hence no new Inbound Interface can be defined.

Our understanding is that the existing inbound Interfaces will continue to work fine, though the support for the same has been decommissioned since Release 22B.

We have 20+ inbound interfaces which are build on this feature and thus this is worrisome for us as many critical business processes are based on these interfaces.

Howdy, Stranger!
