Unable to set "Blank" value in country field

Summary:

A country field with a LOV type appears in Contact.

Every time we attempt to add a new contact, the Netherlands is selected as the default country in the country field, and I also raised an SR.

Sadly, Oracle has acknowledged that it is not possible to set a blank value in the country field.

If anyone has trouble solving this problem or if somebody has already solved it, please help me.
