Automatic Processing of Internal Offers

Summary:

My client is looking to make use of Automatic Processing of Internal Offers. This is mainly to prevent internal candidates going through the Change Assignment approval setup, having just been through the Create Job Offer approval flow.

Content (required):

We've tested this in a dev pod and it works, however, I am reluctant to recommend it given the following note in the user guide: Note: If your organization is using Payroll-based Salary Basis in their offers, or has salary element eligibility defined on Payroll, don't enable these capabilities.

The client does have salary element eligibility defined on payroll - are there any more detail as to why we should not enable this? And is this a bug or a process reason? Can we avoid this potential error?
