Unable to merge Candidate record in ORC to a person record who has a Future Termination date

We are having an issue where we wanted to merge a Candidate record in ORC with a person record who has a Future Termination date, as of now when we try to merge, the person who has a future termination date does not show up to merge under 'Select candidate to merge' box in Check Duplicates section.


Can you please confirm if there is an alternative way to merge the Candidate record in ORC with a person record who has a future termination date?
