How to keep dimension Hierarchy changes in EPBCS?

 When Entity Hierarchy changes, how to keep the history of the old Hierarchy in EPBCS.

Content (required):

we keep making some dimension Hierarchy changes. For example in entity Dimension, some leave level cost centers will move to different parent (Department/Division). and some cost centers not in use anymore. After these changes, when we are using Smart View to pulling historical data, it's not consistent with old Hierarchy anymore because Smart View will use the latest (current) Entity Hierarchy.

Our business want to know if there is way we can keep Dimension Hierarchy History (Same as Oracle ERP) so we can see the Historical data with the old Dimension Hierarchy.
