Summary:

Limit Salary Deduction in case of Unpaid Leave

Content (required):

Hi All,

We have a requirement to limit the unpaid leave dedcution to monthly salary.

example: Employees annual salary is 120000. As per standard annualized rate rule, monthly salary comes to 10,000 and daily rate will be 461.54. We have cases were employee go on Open Ended unpaid leave. Which makes Unpaid leave deduction to daily Rate * 22(working days) = 10,153. Which is more than monthly salary.

Can someone please suggest solution to achieve this requirement.

Also, if someone can explain how maximum and Minimum rate rule feature of Rate Definition works will help.

Howdy, Stranger!
