Create Customer and Sales Orders using ReceiveOrderRequestService service

Summary:

We have requirement to receive a B2C sales orders from external CRM system. We need to get the customers first then import the Sales orders.

We can use two separate FBDI bases integrations once for customers as prerequisite and then Sales orders.

The another way to use the SOAP service ReceiveOrderRequestService which can have customer and sales orders in same payload.

I understand that the api will create a new customer if the customer does not exist. Not sure if customer exists , Does it add new sites / usages etc.

So wanted to check if some one has implemented the integration using "ReceiveOrderRequestService" and if there was any limitations or challenges in using the ReceiveOrderRequestService SOAP service. Any plans to depreciate the webservice.
