performance issue in select many / combobox many component

Hi Experts

I'm using select many / combobox many component to show the list of all the employees in the org (getting data from Fusion workers REST API). I'm using ADP variable to fetch all details and populate the component but i'm seeing performance issue here as when user clicks the area to type inside the component the screens is getting stuck, looks like it is loading the data (currently having 25000 employees ).

Is there a way to improve the performance i.e. when the user clicks the component the screen shouldn't get stuck or something like scroll more on load. Please help
