Property not related to any entity

Content (required): Would be any way to create a property that could be used globally and not related to any entity (activity, Inventory, etc.)?

It would be used it as a flag so that, if, for example, one of the external systems would be own, the value of this property should be changed and all activities and Inventories that have to send/receive information from that system, could follow their corresponding flow without having to update the property individually.
