Formula for most recent grade name on current assignment?

Does anyone have a formula to pull in an employee's most recent Grade Name on their most recent assignment? When working in the Person Profiles Real Time subject area - we are pulling in the following columns:
"Grade"."Grade Name"
"Performance Ratings"."Rating Description".
When this happens - their first assignment Grade Name is pulling in and not reflecting their current Grade Name.
