Is it possible to not use Transit times in the GOP (how to ignore transit times in GOP) ?

Summary:

Our Current scheduling is based on standard lead times and we typically dont use carrier in-transit lead time for any calculations. We define them as 0 for all ship methods and Internal to geographical locations where we do business and dont maintain them on day to day basis. So whenever a new ship method is defined, at times our orders with those new shipmethod goes in error as transit times are not much paid attention and are missed by business users to define in Manage In Transit time set up.

In a way this is just a overhead configuration which we have to do for system to accept and submit order. However, this causes delay in order submission by almost a day as planning engine is scheduled to run once in 24 hrs.
