Is there a way to pull a report to show all items in the catalog (Shared Folders & Dashboards)?

Hi,
This might be a long shot but does anyone know if there is a way to pull a report to show all items in the report and analytics catalog? I know there are audit type reports which pull info on which users have run an OTBI or BIP reports, with timestamps and status info etc.
I need to document all reports in all shared folders along with their permissions. I also needs this for all dashboards too.
This has previously been manually maintained in an excel spreadsheet but thought it be worth asking the question if this information is already available elsewhere?
