Setting Permissions on OBIEE analysis

When we are setting up permissions on BI analysis, it seems as though even though a user was set with an "Open" permission (Read/Traverse), they can still go in and edit. I have tried every different permission level and still able to edit. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?
