How do I find the Person Identifier number?

I need a way to find the person identifier number for specific employees.

Content (required):

I need to build out a few custom expense approval rules and I need to be able to exclude specific employees. It appears this can be done by using their person identifier number. I'm not sure if there is another way to exclude someone. However, I am not sure how to find the person identifier. I would assume there is a query or something that will give us this info.
