PTO Structure auto select

Summary:

We have a need to create a PTO bom and NOT a kit. This is to ensure we are able to price, ship and do revenue recognition at the component level. But the consequence of this is that the user has to select all the component items manually when creating the sales order. Can we ensure that all components are auto selected in the configurator or if we can throw warning if all items are not selected?

Any means to avoid a user mistake is welcome.
