Group columns for expand / collapse

In excel grouping columns / rows so you can expand and collapse them is often used function for reports.

Is there an equivalent in Oracle Planning?

Use case:

A basic profit & loss report with three section (annual, YTD, MTD) and for each section are three columns (actual value, previous year value and previous period value). Since there is no hierarchy involved I look for and hierarchy independent function to group selected columns (rows).
