Why the employee received the same notification twice after a person profile item has been approved?

Hello experts,
we set up an approval flow when the employee add or modify some information in person profile (skill e qualification). After the approval the employee received the same notification twice. One is FYI and the other is SUBMITTED but the content is the same. Do you know where can I manage those notifications in order to disable one of them?
