EPCM - Automation of Allocation and Custom calculation Rule multiple times with different PoV

Summary:

I have a scenario where set of data with same attributes but different PoV(actuals of previous month YTD and forecast values of current month PTD) are loaded for aggregation. Since aggregation and calculation of data from different PoVs are not feasible in EPCM, I am planning to apply same allocation/custom calculation rule on both data separately and show aggregated values at the end in report.

I have 2 solutions in hand,

  1. Create a allocation rule for actuals data and duplicate the rule with different name for forecast. Execute 1st rule for actuals PoV and 2nd rule for forecast PoV.
