Change Management workflow

We are looking for a change management workflow in order to get a better understanding of the right steps for ODA deployment. Here is what we did so far for HCM Digital Assistant.
- Pulled the latest DA (23.01.60) from store
2. Extended (Draft version)
i. Customized (e.g. Disabled Expenses skills)
5. NOT Cloned - required for the platform version
i. Current Platform version is 22.08 - (Why 22.12 was not available?)
(Just discoverer in another documentation that this is correct): When you Extend the SaaS skill, it's not possible to change the Platform Version so to retain the tracking id for Rebasing.
