Scheduling a report which has requisition start date and requisition end date as date parameters

Hi

We are looking to schedule a report to trigger monthly and it has requisition start date and requisition end date as dates parameter.

So what and how should be the date format to be given so that when report trigger every month it contains data from system origin(say 2018) to till date (as of report run date)
