Problem:

Yum (or dnf) is failing to install latest Perl 3.50 packages from OL8 AppStream Repository.

For example package:

perl-Carp-1.50-439.module+el8.3.0+7729+86a74f64.src.rpm

is listed in the https://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL8/appstream/x86_64/index.html

The package is displayed by yum info:
