Can we revert the line status for backordered line

Summary:

We are currently integrated with OTM and WMS and have a scenario where in if a line is backordered in WMS, the Order line status which is now in backordered stage needs to be resent to OTM for planning again. Is there anyways we can revert the line status via DOO based on this condition?
