Need formula for Date Paid is in last calendar month

Summary:

I have a report using Subject Area Payroll - Payroll Balances Real Time. The report will run on the first day of every month and will capture the number of hours worked for anyone with a DATE PAID during the last full month (previous calendar month). For example, when the report runs on April 1st, it should return hours worked for anyone with a DATE PAID during the month of March. I would appreciate some guidance on how to do this please.
