How to Build Dashboards in BI

Sorry, I'm a newbie when it comes to Oracle BI. I am trying to build a dashboard that includes a look at our active workforce, new hires, and terminations. Is this possible in BI? If so, where do I even begin? If anyone knows of any documentation or resources that can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
