Sales order line stuck in Scheduling Status after releasing Pause task

When a sales order line is created through the integration, line remains in Scheduled Status. There was a pause tasks. There was a pause task for this order line. Once I removed the pause task, line still remains in the same status. We are passing the Requested date at line level through the integration. However No scheduled date derived. I tried manually updating the scheduled ship date for one of the line and it changed the line status from Scheduled to Awaiting shipping. How to address this issue by auto populating the scheduled ship dates based on Requested date.
