OFSC Instance cloning possibilities.

Hi Team,

While do an instance clone in OFSC we can choose to clone either configurations only or configurations and data. If my understanding is right, even if we clone by choosing configurations alone, the resource data we have in the instance would be retained. Is there a way we can choose not to copy the resource data to higher instances while cloning?
