23A Rate Based Salary Basis Type and the Frequency

Hi Team,

While configuring New Salary Basis, when i select the Rate based Salary Basis Type, the Frequency got auto populated with Payroll Period and Annualization Factor greyed out.

Content (required):

Is this a new change in 23A or is there some set up causing this, please advise.

Earlier, when configuring in 22D, i was able to select the frequency as Annual and the Annualization Factor as 1.

Kindly advise.
