Customer Site DFF to Default Salesperson on Sales Order

Summary:

We are using DFF which is stored on customer site level to capture Salesperson and then using OM extension to default salesperson on Sales order but after defining DFF, adding DFF to customer site level still get error as below:

also attached is OM extension we have On Save. Any pointer in why this DFF values is not getting passed to sales order.
