How to differentiate employees with promotion and without promotion in Transfer batch process?

Summary:

We have a requirement to run transfer batch process twice, once for employees with salary adjustment and promotion and another for employees with salary adjustment but no promotion.

Content (required):

Effective date for salary adjustment and promotion are different in Transfer Batch Process.

When running the transfer batch process for employees with salary adjustment with promotion, it is posting salary adjustment as different effective date and promotion at different effective date.

Our requirement is that if employee has salary adjustment along with promotion, then effective date should be of promotion effective date else when employee has only salary adjustment, effective date should be of salary adjustment.
