VBCS Service Connection Live Locked Updates

Currently, in VBCS we are not able to update the connection string (password) in a service connection on a published application even though it may be locked. Even though VB Studio provides a good experience relative to packaging and publishing applications, the additional change management required to re-migrate an application adds a lot of overhead, in highly regulated environment such as ours. Ideally, an admin should be able to lock a live application, edit the connection and change the password, without requiring that being done in a workspace and then having to re-migrate and re-publish the entire application.
