Parameter not working when embedding OTBI Analysis

edited May 26, 2023 1:49PM in Reporting and Analytics for HCM 1 comment

Summary:

Embedded an analysis on HCM page but it seems that the binding variable is not being received by the analysis because the report is not being filtered

Content (required):

What I did was apply this step-by-step guide in embedding a report.

3689-11-519770.docx (live.com)

When testing, it seems that the binding variable is being recognized in the script (as seen in the screenshot below), but it is not reflecting in the analysis.

Also, I tried hardcoding the binding variable value in the parameter script, and it worked, the analysis was filtered.

Here is the parameter script:

<parameters><parameter><name>&quot;Location&nbsp;Identifiers&quot;.&quot;Location&nbsp;Identifier&quot;</name><value>

Howdy, Stranger!
