We have a copy of the out of the box rule "Default Salary Basis based on Job FLSA Code" that was provided by Oracle. We were finding a case of a specific job code (000009) not returning the correct the correct FLSA code.

After adding in some extra code to display values in an error pop up, we have figured out the issue. Our job code 000009 was originally flagged as exempt. Then a later update to the job changed it to non-exempt. Using Get First Row on the US Legislative information on the job (as provided by Oracle) is actually returning the FLSA code from the EARLIEST US Legislative record attached to the job. We have temporarily changed our copy of the rule to use Get Last Row on the US Legislative Information on the job. That
