Employee Termination in case of multiple records
We have an issue with our current client. An Employee gets retired from the organization. The same employee's record is created as a non-worker ( Retiree) for benefits employee.
This employee in future gets rehired and post that we have total two records for the person Employee and Retiree.
Now whenever the employee needs to be terminated again - system gives an error that you cannot terminate the employee record as its a primary work relationship , in order to achieve it - please switch the retiree record relationship as primary.
Now we can switch retiree work relationship to primary and terminate the employee record. So two issues arise from a process standpoint:
