does anyone have any experience using the bulk loader to modify course completions?

Hello, I need to modify a number of users completion status for a specific course, but these users have all previously completed this reoccurring course. I was told that due to the fact that they have already completed the course, I need to use the bulk loader to make these modifications. However, I don't have any experience using it, and I'm having a hard time understanding the instructions on the help site.

I was able to find the information on the help site with the requirements for the text file, but I'm not sure how to set it up - how does one set up columns in a text file?
