Summary:

Our 3rd party vendor, HireRight, has sent us a notice that they are enhancing data security and will no longer support the cipher block chaining (CBC) ciphers in the TLS version 1.2 connection beginning June 26, 2023. All connectivity to the HireRight platform must use TLS version 1.2, as well as disallow CBC ciphers.

Your integration with HireRight will experience connectivity issues if your environment is still supporting CBC ciphers after this date. If not updated, you will receive an error message stating, “Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS” when attempting to communicate with our platform. The message will vary based on your environment.

Howdy, Stranger!
