Autonomous Dev CS instance setup question

Hello,

I am trying to get an it's instance of the Developer Cloud Service up and running for quite some time now, but to no avail. When I received the info that it's now also available as an autonomous cloud service, I gave it a try, but to no avail. Sadly, I wasn't able to find any documentation which covers the initial part of deploying an instance and successfully accessing it afterwards.

Okay, my question. The instance creation form displays a drop-down box titled "System on which the instance will be placed". Selecting an instance is mandatory, otherwise clicking "Next" will result in an error.
