How to restrict LOV of Proxy Managers on 'Act As Proxy Manager' Search page?

My Client Groups >> Compensation >> Act As Proxy Manager

Click on the dropdown arrow next to the employee’s name in the header.

Can you please advise on how to restrict this list of values so that a line manager can choose people with positions not higher than General Manager only?
