Unable to make 'People Group' field appear on Add Pending worker - responsive UI page

We are unable to make the 'People Group' field visible on the Add Pending worker page (Responsive UI) using the below navigation:

My Client Groups -> Quick Actions -> Add Pending Worker -> Employment Details


We were able to make it visible on the Classic UI page i.e. via My Client Groups -> New Person -> Add Pending Worker -> Employment Information, using design studio.

However, we are unable to make it visible on the Responsive UI page navigation as stated above.

We have tried Design studio and Page composer to enable it, but to no avail. The field is grayed out, therefore making it impossible to enable the same on the responsive UI navigation.
