Overtime element doesnot return payvalue for Rehire staff

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:33AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 4 comments

Summary

For all the rehire staff, the overtime element is processed but doesnot return any payvalue in the quickpay/Regualr payrun. Possible cause could be the Non-availability of required input-Basic salary

Content

Hi, we have the issue with Overtime element getting processed but doe snot return any payvalue. This happens only for Rehire staff where the Payroll relationship number ends with -1 and assignment number ends with -2.

The reason found to be :

"over time element requires Gross salary as input value. For this, Overtime formula calls another formula 'Get Salary for Gratuity'. The fast formula  is not passing the gross salary for rehire cases.
