How to show remaining balance for a loan on a payslip

Is there a way to show the remaining balance on a Loan on an employee's payslip

Element has been created to give an employee an amount for a loan (Example: $1000).
A voluntary deduction element is created to deduct payments from the employee's pay (Total Owed = $1000, amount = $250)
Is there any current functionality, or does anyone know of a way to show that remaining balance for the loan on the employee's pay slip?
