Question on wage basis rule effective start date
Summary:
Question on wage basis rule effective start date
Content (required):
Have a question on wage basis rule effective start date. If the payroll is already implemented and running weekly. If we are planning to add wage basis rule now to handle local tax calculation issue, what effective start date, we need to choose?
Planning to use 01/01/2023, since we are adding the wage basis rule within this fiscal year. And also by choosing this date, it won’t trigger any retro for tax calculation, right?
Any idea, could you please share your inputs.
