Creating direct active applicants in the system rather than creating prospects

Summary:

Creating direct active applicants in the system rather than creating prospects

Content (required)

Scenario 1 - When a recruiter creates a general profile and tries to a requisition, on the Add to requisition page, there is a check box for "create job application on behalf of candidate". If the recruiter does not select this option, the candidate lands as a prospect instead of an active appplicant.

Scenario 2 - When a vendor refers a candidate against a particular requisiton, after tagging the candidate , the candidate lands as a prospect.

In both the scenarios, is there any fucntionality to restrict the system from creating prospects and directly create active applicants in the sytem.
